Conference Speaker Announced

George Fowler, Professional Engineer at Woidt Engineering, will speak at the 2015 Ashokan Watershed Conference about the past, present, and future of stream management. His talk Using the StreamFlux Capacitor to Understand the Rivers Future Generations Will See has fun with this year’s conference theme of Back to the Future: Creating a New Watershed Legacy. In addition, local historian Bob Steuding, author of The Last of the Handmade Dams: The Story of the Ashokan Reservoir will present a history of the reservoir and its legacy. Other sessions cover invasive species and a stream expert panel to answer audience questions.
