The Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program invites you to attend a stream walk on Saturday, May 3 from 10:00am to 12:00pm along the Little Beaver Kill in the Town of Woodstock.  Allison Lent and Christina Appleby of the Ulster County Soil & Water Conservation District will lead the walk and talk about stream science that can be observed along the Little Beaver Kill. The walk will begin at Kenneth Wilson State Park, a NYSDEC operated public park and campground. Most of the walk will occur off hiking trails. Some areas may be steep, rocky, or slippery. Please wear appropriate hiking footwear, waterproof if possible. Also consider bringing insect repellent that repels deer ticks. No pets allowed. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.  Please call 845–688-3047, or email Brent at bwg37@cornell.edu to register and for more information.
