Kanape Brook Stream Walk

On  Saturday, September 28, join Bobby Taylor of the Ulster County Soil & Water Conservation District from 10am-12pm for a stream walk along Kanape Brook in the Town of Olive. Bobby will talk about stream science that can be observed along Kanape Brook, including how streams change from headwaters to confluence, the role of riparian vegetation, floodplains, fish and macoinvertebrate habitat, and the history of old roads in the Catskills and their influence on streams.
