Kanape Brook Stream Walk

On  Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 28, join Bob­by Tay­lor of the Ulster Coun­ty Soil & Water Con­ser­va­tion Dis­trict from 10am-12pm for a stream walk along Kanape Brook in the Town of Olive. Bob­by will talk about stream sci­ence that can be observed along Kanape Brook, includ­ing how streams change from head­wa­ters to con­flu­ence, the role of ripar­i­an veg­e­ta­tion, flood­plains, fish and macoin­ver­te­brate habi­tat, and the his­to­ry of old roads in the Catskills and their influ­ence on streams.
