Town of Olive to hold second Flood Analysis Meeting

The Town of Olive invites all residents and property owners from the hamlets of Boiceville and West Shokan to attend the second in a series of public meetings to find solutions to flooding in the hamlets of Boiceville and West Shokan. The meeting will be held Tuesday, July 14 at the Town Meeting Hall, 50 Bostock Rd., Shokan, NY from 6:00-7:30pm. If your home or business was damaged or is threatened from a flooding hazard, please download and return a question & answer form or pick one up at the Town Hall. Return completed forms to the Town of Olive, PO Box 180, West Shokan, NY 12494. At the upcoming meeting, Woidt Engineering and Consulting will present their understanding of the causes of identified flood hazards in the hamlets. Residents are asked to add to the list of flood hazards and provide input on potential solutions.
