Town of Olive to hold second Flood Analysis Meeting

The Town of Olive invites all res­i­dents and prop­er­ty own­ers from the ham­lets of Boiceville and West Shokan to attend the sec­ond in a series of pub­lic meet­ings to find solu­tions to flood­ing in the ham­lets of Boiceville and West Shokan. The meet­ing will be held Tues­day, July 14 at the Town Meet­ing Hall, 50 Bostock Rd., Shokan, NY from 6:00–7:30pm. If your home or busi­ness was dam­aged or is threat­ened from a flood­ing haz­ard, please down­load and return a ques­tion & answer form or pick one up at the Town Hall. Return com­plet­ed forms to the Town of Olive, PO Box 180, West Shokan, NY 12494. At the upcom­ing meet­ing, Woidt Engi­neer­ing and Con­sult­ing will present their under­stand­ing of the caus­es of iden­ti­fied flood haz­ards in the ham­lets. Res­i­dents are asked to add to the list of flood haz­ards and pro­vide input on poten­tial solutions.
