The Fox Hollow watershed is 4 square miles and the main stem channel is 3.7 miles in length. The stream begins in the Slide Mountain Wilderness Area and closely follows Fox Hollow Road for much of its length. It lies entirely within the Town of Shandaken and drains into the Esopus Creek at Allaben.
